Bulova is a storied watchmaker that is located in New York City.  Founded in 1875 by Joseph Bulova, an immigrant from Bohemia, Bulova watches is renowned for making numerous innovations in watchmaking and watch manufacturing, including the Accutron watch.
Interesting fact: Bulova had the world’s first television commercial on July 1, 1941.  The commercial, which Bulova paid just $9 for, was shown on a baseball game between the Brooklyn Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies.
Today, Bulova Watch Company is owned by Citizen who bought the legendary watchmaker on Janary 10, 2008 for $250 million.  Did you know that as a consequence Citizen combined with Bulova now makes them the world’s largest watchmaker?
